why vegan?
I became Vegan in September, 2017, after being plant-based for one year.
At first, it was the health aspect of veganism that attracted me to this lifestyle. I wanted to be healthy, lose some weight, become stronger and, as a result, happier. For 5 months, I was researching plant-based diets and I realized that it is the most optimal diet for human health.
Wanting to get slim and healthy only a part of my story. Once I learned about the ways in which humans exploit other non-human animals, I knew I couldn’t be a part of it. I have loved animals ever since I can remember, and realizing that you can’t love animals and eat them helped me transition to a vegan lifestyle.
